It won’t come as a shock to most people, but I have a pretty short attention span. Blame it on TV or the internet or fast food or whatever, but it’s true. For most people, a short attention span is a negative thing, but for working with middle school and high school students, it’s actually a pretty good thing . . . because their attention spans are just as short.
With that said, I’ve embarked on a new online project. I’m working to compile all of the youth ministry games I have used and continue to use. The ones I’ve created and the ones I’ve borrowed. The ones that worked great the first time and the ones I’ve had to tweak several times to make them work.
Very soon, this compilation will be appearing at my new website: YMGAMES.com in the form of a Game-A-Day blog. I’ll also be contributing game ideas to a variety of other ministry blogs in the near future.
Rather than doing a poor job of keeping up two blogs, I’m going to put this blog on pause while I focus on this new project. Will I make it back to blogging on here eventually? Maybe. Until then, check out some crazy youth ministry games (soon) at YMGAMES.com.

WHAT AM I DOING? Life in ministry keeps me crazy busy: working with high school students, middle schoolers, retreats, teaching, planning events, and an occassional pie in the face. I try to balance that with the the two things that are most important in my life: my God and my family. It's a crazy life, but I love it!
